Jobverse
A career platform combining job listings, market data, CV analysis and interview practice.
Jobverse lets users search and save job listings, explore salary and skill data and compare a CV against a specific posting. It also includes a Gemini-based interview section that generates feedback on the user’s answers.
My role
I was responsible for backend development in the team. We used a TypeScript and Express API with MongoDB and Firebase Authentication.
I routed Gemini requests through the backend so that the API key never needs to be exposed to the client.
I also worked on the DigitalOcean deployment, including Nginx, HTTPS redirects, a separate API subdomain, rate limiting and PM2.
